My name is Patrick Lindsey.  I love to learn and teach chess.  My first game was when I was 8 years old; a South Korean chess player who traveled the world playing chess taught me to play, and we played two games.  I will never forget him.  This happened at a Christmas party in 1977 in Berrien Springs Michigan.  I have been teaching chess since 2016 and specialize in teaching beginners who know nothing about the game.  I am passionate, loving, patient, kind and gentle.  Private lessons are available for $35 an hour outside of chess club times.  Your first lesson is free!
